Every little girl needs a classic keepsake jewelry box, and this Whimsical Dreams Jewelry Box from Mele is as classic as it comes. Simply lift the lid and watch the little ballerina whirl and twirl around to "Over the Rainbow." Jewelry box features a lifting lid with fold-out tri-mirror and divided sections for your jewelry.
The music is lovely as is the ballerina, but the construction of the music box itself is shoddy at best. It is very lightweight and within just a short period of time the lid of the music box fell off and the type of metal hinge used is not attached to any part of the lid so once it pops apart it is pretty much a lost cause. And my little girl was always careful when she played with it so if the child is in the least bit rough the music box will probably last even a shorter period of time. The mirrored panels also came off constantly but they at least popped back on easily. All in all it was hugely overpriced, and a waste of money.
