If you're bills are nice and cozy in your current mailbox, but your care packages are getting left out in the cold, you might want to consider this tough plastic mailbox from Rubbermaid. It's nearly a foot wide and about 9 inches tall at center---plenty of room for odd-shaped parcels and other small and medium-size items. It can be easily snapped into a mounting bracket (not included) and comes with a standard red mail flag.

This mailbox is availble in three sizes.
The standard one is the small one, which is unremarkable. It is no more than a plastic version of the standard rural mailbox in both size and function. The smal one does not have the advanced features of the two larger ones.
The medium and large ones are the ones that are really excellent. They are equivalent to the I1-1/2 and T2 sizes. For most users, the medium one is the most useful. It allows magazines abd books to lie flat. Both of these sizes have special mounting provisions, which allow screwing of these mailboxes directly to an existing horizontal 4x4 or a standard 6-1/4x 17 inch mailbox mounting board (the same size as a standard metal mailbox).
